The “Waseca” difference: Here at Waseca, we pride ourselves on our dedicated faculty. We’re able to retain such a wonderful teaching staff due to how we operate our school. We function as a private school, not a daycare. While we serve infants and young children along with our elementary students, we operate based on annual enrollment contracts, a typical 10-month school year calendar, and a Board of Directors that is dedicated to ensuring the longevity and quality of Waseca.
Tour and observation: Though not required, a tour of our campus is strongly recommended. During your tour, you will gain information on what makes Montessori different from traditional school settings, as well as the ways that Waseca stands out in our community among child care centers.
Interested in scheduling a tour? You can reach out to our Head of School at director@wasecaschool.org.
Application Fee: Interested families are encouraged to submit a completed admission application, accompanied by a $75 non-refundable fee.
Meeting on Campus: As a part of the admissions process, you and your child may be invited to our campus to meet with our administration and a lead teacher. This visit is beneficial for us to get to know your family better and for your child to see and experience the Montessori learning environment.
Admissions Timeline: Our admissions timeline varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to the age of your child, your child’s developmental milestones, the time of year, the current age and gender ratios of our classrooms, etc. Please email our Head of School for more information on an admissions timeline.
